"Six years old needs a mother" Nour Al Alwan repeated it when she fled from Syria with her ten-year-old daughter hoping to find her son. She crosses the sea risking her life, goes to Turkey by makeshift means, reaches Greece by crossing the sea, passing through Macedonia, Serbia, Croatia, Austria arriving in Germany. After being recognized as a refugee, a seller of passports advises her to go through Italy where the checks are less strict. She embarks in Frankfurt and reaches Milan before arriving in Sardinia.

Nour Al Alwan was stopped at the Cagliari airport with a fake passport while trying to reach her son in London. She is now in custody at the Cagliari migrant center with her ten-year-old daughter. For three years she has been trying to be reunited with her six-year-old son, who lives in London. Three years ago, to save his life, she entrusted him to his aunt who took him to England, far from the bombs.
